Katie Nairn
Hi, I’m Katie, co-founder of Impact Growth Academy, business growth consultant, trainer and serial entrepreneur.
I have spent more than 25 years building businesses and supporting people and organisations across the private, public and third sectors. Alongside running my own consultancy since 2014, I am a co-owner of Nairn Construction, a growing multi-million-pound business my husband and I started from the kitchen table.
That experience means I understand the realities of business growth — making difficult decisions, building teams, creating opportunities, winning work and finding the confidence to become more visible.
Through Impact Growth Academy, I turn that experience into practical, straightforward training that helps business owners and professionals strengthen their personal brand, use LinkedIn more effectively, build valuable relationships and turn visibility into genuine opportunities.
My approach is honest, encouraging and firmly grounded in the real world. I will help you simplify what feels complicated, challenge you when needed and give you practical steps you can put into action.
When I am not working, you will usually find me at home in the beautiful South of Scotland, enjoying family life, or on a plane to explore somewhere new.
My aim is simple: to help more people show up confidently, communicate their value clearly and build businesses and careers that work for them.

Hello, I’m Leanne – co-founder of Impact Growth Academy, trainer, coach, and your biggest supporter when it comes to building a brand and career that truly reflects who you are.
With a background in recruitment, headhunting, and consultancy, I’ve spent years helping people step into new opportunities. Now, through Impact Growth Academy, I get to combine that experience with my passion for confidence-building and business growth.
I believe everyone has unique talents worth shouting about – sometimes, you just need the right support (and a nudge) to see it.
Outside of work, I’m all about family, community, and making a difference wherever I can.
